Your blogs

I have been really interested in the points some of you are making in your blogs. As Elizabeth said, maybe I should get out more!

However, I am genuinely enthused by your positive comments on the activities and pleased that you are enjoying the module. More importantly than that though... There is some real cascading going on. Hooray! Marie is taking the ideas back into her division, Hugh is using ideas discussed in the group activities and Tony is using the activities directly with his students. If any of you are doing more write about it in your reflective blog and I will add it here.

Cascade, cascade, cascade....... don't forget it's cascading even if you just show one other person.

TechDis SimDis

We were unable to look at TechDis SimDis in today's session due to technical difficulties. It could possibly be that the Shockwave player wasn't updated on the computers. I have asked for this to be checked at Acton room 320.

Here is the link to
SIM DIS. Please try to view this from a different computer.

I have emailed you all Activity 2. Please have this completed (and emailed to me) by Wednesday 25th February.

Please email me if you experience any difficulties with this activity (Well before the 25th please).

Welcome to the class blog

I will be adding information and ideas to this blog on a regular basis. In the first session you will all be creating a blog and sending me the address so that I can add it here in a blog list. This will mean that you can all access each others blogs easily to share thoughts and ideas.

At the end of each session you will be asked to reflect on what you have done by writing a few lines on each of these questions:

1. What is the most important (or useful) thing you have learned in this session?

2. Is there anything still unclear ? If so be specific and I will follow it up.

3. How do you think you will use what you have learned today? (think about your assignment or teaching)
